Melissa was a competitive dancer for many years and studied a variety of different styles.
Following her dance studies she went on to instruct a yoga style class for five years. During her time as an instructor Melissa was in two car accidents in a period of a month. Continuing with her yoga and receiving regular massage helped her to recover much faster than initially expected.
This is when she learned the value of movement and massage in recovery and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.
Melissa received her education at Grant MacEwan University. She plans to continue her education by taking a sports and deep tissue massage course in the summer of 2010 followed by a cupping massage course in the fall.
