Yasir graduated from the Raynor School of Naturopathic massage in 2010 and has followed up with a 2200 hour diploma from the Turner Institute of Orthopedic massage in 2013.

The treatments Yasir performs include relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, naturopathic massage, orthopedic massage, trigger point treatment, and therapeutic massage.

Yasir grew up in Camrose, Alberta and moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta. After completing a degree in philosophy Yasir worked in the inner city for many years prior to shifting his focus from mental wellness to overall holistic health service.

Yasir is active in a wide range of sports including tennis, hockey, curling, badminton, yoga, running, walking, and soccer. With a strong background in physical activities Yasir has access to a wide range of knowledge when discussing and explaining remedial exercises/stretches, home care, and overall health and wellness.

Yasir believes that Massage Therapy in conjunction with exercise, meditation, and healthy eating are essential techniques that can help an individual align the mind, body and spirit.

Yasir brings a caring and attentive energy to his practice and will strive to listen to each individual’s differing needs and desires. Being able to source more than one modality of massage allows Yasir to mold each individual’s treatment plan to the unique needs presented. Continued training and an open mind to new and old techniques will help ensure that Yasir’s clients will be receiving balanced and progressive treatments.
